We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone, address, pet profiles, and booking details. We also collect usage data including device type, browser, and pages visited to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: match you with suitable sitters, process bookings and payments, send booking notifications and updates, improve our platform, and comply with legal obligations. We never use your data for unrelated marketing without explicit consent.

3. Data Sharing

We share your information only with: your matched sitter (pet details, contact info, address), payment processors (Stripe) for transaction processing, and law enforcement when legally required. We never sell personal data to third parties.

4. Data Storage

Data is stored securely on servers in Australia (Sydney region). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Backups are maintained for disaster recovery. We retain data for as long as your account is active, plus 2 years after deletion for legal compliance.

5. Your Rights

Under Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and data, opt out of marketing communications, and lodge a complaint with the OAIC. Contact us to exercise these rights.
