1. Terms of Use

By accessing and using PetHero, you agree to be bound by these terms. PetHero provides a curated marketplace connecting pet owners with verified pet sitters on the Gold Coast, QLD. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time with notice via email or in-app notification.

2. User Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information during registration. Pet owners are responsible for providing complete and accurate pet profiles, including medical conditions. Sitters must maintain up-to-date availability and respond to booking requests within 24 hours.

3. Booking & Cancellation

Bookings are confirmed once a sitter accepts and the owner approves. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start date receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50% fee. No-shows forfeit the full booking amount.

4. Liability

PetHero acts as a marketplace facilitator. While we verify sitters through police checks and interviews, we do not assume liability for incidents during pet care. We recommend owners maintain pet insurance. PetHero provides a dispute resolution process for any issues arising from bookings.

5. Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect only information necessary to provide our services and never sell personal data to third parties.
